Hantsport is a charming little town with a sea port located in the western part of Hants County with a population in 2006 of 1191 people. The sea port is used solely for shipping gypsum. Hantsports largest employer is Minas Basin Pulp and Power Co., a pulp mill that uses recycled paper and cardboard.
